Visited Jimmy T's last night and had a great time! Â Upon arrival I was a little leary of entering since the floor is strewn with peanuts.. (I have a nut allergy so I tend to stear clear of these types of places).. but since we were with friends last night I sort of had to go along with it (THANK GOD FOR BENADRYL).
The place was kicking with a live band who played some really good renditions of waylon jennings songs! Â Â Â We came for dinner but could hear the music that was on the covered porch... great background noise! Â Â Dinner was delicious... I ordered the snow crab... again I'm always leary of ordering crab at non-seafood restaurants. Â For 12.99.. it was literally a steal... it was so tastey. Â IT came with a salad and a side ( i chose the garlic mash with gravey). Â WE also ordered the loaded potatoes.. for 3.50 you get a lot of food... totally worth it!
Totally a steal for what was served/ quality! Â Â
Overall we though this meal was priced very reasonably! Â Â The only reason I give this place 4 stars and not 5 is because I have a nut allergy and had to down some benadryl (which always makes me tired). Â This is definetly one place i will be coming back (with benadryl in hand).
I went to Jimmy T's in January 2010 while visiting family in the area.  We were a party of six.  Unfortunately, the waitress brought out the meals at significantly  staggered interval (like 3-5 minutes), and being the last in the interval to be served,  I didn't start on my burger until the some of our party was already finished with their meal.  The burger was standard and gave me heartburn.
