Never stay in the motel rooms here.
Reception is handled at the bar, so when you call to book a room, you have to shout over the background noise.
I stayed in room 5. It was full of bugs, the ceiling fan had blades caked with dust, the microwave was crusted with popcorn and butter, there was an empty juice box behind my nightstand, and my damp bath towels remained damp, with screened windows open and fans on all day.
I spent an hour per night chasing and killing bugs, and wiping away cobwebs from the ceiling, then I applied bug repellent before bed just in case.
Instead of feeling happy and refreshed each morning, I felt gross and desperate to get away.
