When we first drive into Bakersfield, we get our phones out and start calling the family--"Meet us at Jobie's" is the message to about 5-6 folks. The owners are close friends with my GF's family, and the one thing the families have in common is mad cooking skills. Their Chile Verde is off the hook as well as their Texas tacos and enchiladas. YUMMY. Nothing in SF compares to good down home SoCal Mexican food. Do not miss out.
