Jonesez was pretty good but they moved out of LaBelle. I think they moved to Ft. Myers but I'm not sure about that.

According to the restaurant's website the Labelle location is closed, and they are opening in Feb. 2012 in Fort Myers.

Who has the best ribs in LaBelle, Florida With the help of my husband, Brad, and our fellow RVers, Dianne and Armin Burri, we decided to do a blind taste test.
Brad went into town while we chatted and set the picnic table at Ortona campground in anticipation of two orders he was 'gathering' from Restaurant A and Restaurant B, both establishments coming up Number 1 and 2 in our Google search.
Upon arriving at the campsite, we blindfolded ourselves while he took out the packages, placed them before us and labeled the containers A and B. We then dug in.
Restaurant B's ribs were hands down (or thumbs up) the better of the two. Brad and Dianne raved about the falling off the bone ribs they experienced. Armin liked both (and I suspect he would have eaten anything we placed before him.) Restaurant A's ribs, which were bigger, were all fairly fatty. Fine if you like fatty ribs, however, I am always on a quest for lean, falling off the bone BBQ.
We all liked Restaurant B's sides the best. Diane and I sampled the soft, velvety insides of a blackened sweet potato with pleasure. The green beans were fortified with rib bones and meat, giving them a rich, smoky taste. We all gave a thumbs up to the baked beans, and the crab rice was simply unique in flavor and texture; yellow rice with crabmeat and southern seasoning.
Restaurant A's sides were truly uninspired. Plain corn from a can, just okay slaw and traditional cornbread.
Restaurant B's chicken also won out over Restaurant A's. I must admit that we (along with some help from our Golden Retriever, Tucker) polished off most of the contents from both containers, so neither was inedible.
In the future, we would go to Restaurant B or (drum roll please) Jonesez Barbecue, 415-417 S. Main Street, Labelle, Fl 33935, 863-675-6262 (RESTAURANT). They offer both indoor seating and takeout and their motto is "Forget the Rest...Come Get Blessed."
Restaurant A was the newly re-opened, Log Cabin Bar B-Que, Hwy 80, Labelle, FL 33935 (863) 675-3418.
In the past, we have had some decent BBQ from the U-Save Supermarket.
My husband and I have detoured as many as100 miles off of our planned route to find good BBQ. Sometimes the side trips have paid off, sometimes not. But when they do, it's a rewarding and finger licking experience. Please let us know of your BBQ experiences in LaBelle and beyond by writing to Barb@CommunicationsPro.c….
