  Good variety of food, loaded waffle fries were good but Mac and cheese was great, very creamy. Fast service and friendly, decor and lighting could use an overhaul, very bright.

  Loaded fries were to die for! Totally worth the heart attack in a basket.  Mac and cheese was comforting and delicious.  The cobb salad was fresh, crisp and plentiful!  Very good prices for average size portions.  Very casual and the service was great!

  While traveling north of Kansas City my family decided to stop for gas. Because of Yelp we decided to try JRay's! Excellent food!!! I had their signature burger, my son had the nachos and my wife had the cheesesteak. Everything was perfect!! The only thing I would caution you on is to bring an empty stomach. The portion size was a lot bigger than what we expected!

  The first place I gave 5 stars. The buns here are out of this world. The chicken sandwich is the best anywhere. I had the special of the day, ham and cheese with fried egg on an onion bun. Wow. The cheese curds are a must have, if you've had curds in Wisconsin you wont be disappointed with these. I'll make it a point to come back here.

  As a cheeseburger guy, I was very impressed with my choices.  Lots of great options for burgers as well as other items.  The service was prompt, responsive and very capable.  I had the cracked egg burger, and I will definitely be back to try some others!

  We usually stop in for a meal after flying into Kansas City International.  The food has always been very good with good service by the staff.  There are daily $5.00 lunch specials for the lighter appetite as well as a daily special from the regular menu.  I recently had the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich.  The sandwich was excellent.  With many of the items, there is a special "twist" to the preparation which adds to the pleasure of dining here.  
  
  That sandwich I had was accompanied by a choice of French fries or chips.  The chips were the best homemade chips I've eaten at a restaurant.  They are served with salt or with a Cajun seasoning.
  
  This restaurant atmosphere might be somewhat plain but the dining is special.  The new menu will add some more items that look worthy of trying.

  I really like JRays! The best quality food at decent prices. All the food is prepared freshly when you order. They also are in the process of expanding their menu. Only going to get better!
