Not bad. We were driving home after a great three day weekend in Arkansas and it was getting late and we were very tired because we were on the road all day. It was starting to get slightly dusk and it was Sunday evening so we noticed their Neon Lights welcoming us to the Restaurant and it reminded me of something my parents would have stopped at during one of our many road trips growing up. So, I whipped my car into the parking lot and got a space near the front. There was a few vehicles in the lot but it didn't look crowded because the private parking lot is large.
  We entered into the restaurant thinking this might be really good. The building looked large and the Neon lights mentioned Seafood and Steaks so HECK YEAH!!! We entered into the "TWILIGHT ZONE"...
  It was like stepping back into time. The Room was large with a huge salad bar down the middle and booths and tables scattered into sections through the large room.  There was only ONE diner eating at the restaurant but there was about 2 dozen cars in the parking lot..Tony and I looked at each other and I said ..."MUST be a lot of cooks in that Kitchen" but Tony said, "NAH, there must be a back party room or something"
  We were greeted immediately and took to a table across the vast room. Which is good, because I hate sitting near the front door, but heck I am not a fan of sitting at the kitchen swinging doors either. I asked her if we could sit somewhere else, and she looked around the room like she was looking for a clear table..."WHAT?"  So, I walked over to about mid room and sat down and she followed.. She stood there for a minute and said "WHAT WILL YOU HAVE?"
  Sort of made a flash in my head of the old TV show, where Flo says "KISS MY GRITS!!!"...lol !!!
  I said I would like to have unsweetened tea with lemon and lime and Tony asked for a Budweiser...she said "CAN I SEE YOUR MEMBERSHIP CARD?" Tony and I looked at each other..."Do you mean his ID?" I asked ...she said "NO HONEY, HIS MEMBERSHIP to the DRINKING CLUB"...Tony and I laughed..she said "WELL YOU CAN PAY $10 to join and drink here and the beers are $4 each.." Tony said you want me to pay you $10 just to drink here, and I am passing through and will never be here again? She smiled and said "IT's the LAW"..Tony asked for a sweet tea and rolled his eyes.. We both ordered the OPEN FACED ROAST BEEF Plate...it was fair, not horrible and not to die for...but just OKAY!!! The Neon lights are to bring you in...once your in...You at their mercy!!! We ate paid the ticket left a $1 tip and said NEVER AGAIN!!!!!
Go try it yourself and if you live near by and it might be worth the $10 drinking membership...but not for Tourist!!!!
First of all there was a stink in this place like something in the kitchen had broken down. Second of all they had terrible food. Take a walk by the buffet before you decide if you want it. We decided against it thinking the menu items would be better. Neither was a good choice. Burger was bland, steak was dry, pizzas were definitely from a box frozen from a store. They took a frozen pizza and added ingredients you wanted on it. The pizzas we got were still frozen half way in. It also took them 1 hour to serve our food. The salad at the bar was old and plain. Ive heard that the other Kelly's restaurants are slightly better but I'm afraid this experience has made up my mind about the other branches...
