I put one star as it is over priced for a cheap product. Food is mediocre at best, clientele is pretty low life. Bar staff especially that girl Mel is awful a complete rip off. There are better places to go.

Good place to stop to have a quick drink or grub. Good food. Reasonable pricing. And good views of the lake. I usually go during happy hour coming back from North Shore or go early afternoon before going up. Friday and saturday nights there's live music and lots of military people from nearby Schofield.

In the past few days I've hung out here quite a bit as I live next door.  That being said I have only good things to offer.

The Spinach Dip is phenomenal, the spinach salad is great just be sure to take your dressing on the side as they sort of over do it, the All-American burger is top notch I suggest adding bacon.

They had a loaded potato and cheddar type soup and I wasn't sure if I liked it or not so Leah brought me a cocktail glass full to try out.  Their food menu is always improving, give the place a shot.

Very dive-y bar; however, unlike your typical hole-in-the-wall, this place has tons of room and multiple bars: upstairs, downstairs, inside and out. You can definitely find a spot to suit ya!

When we went on a Saturday, there was a $5 cover, so make sure you have cash! We took a seat at the bar and enjoyed chatting with our friendly bartender and people-watching. She definitely didn't skimp on those well drinks, either, because after being there a couple of hours I was hankering for a burger or cheesy fries every time a platter of them walked by (and boy, did they smell amazing). I knew I should've come for dinner!

The crowd was pretty chill when we were there: a mix of military, bikers, and locals. The music is loud and the place (as well as pool tables) fill up fast, so if you're looking for a quiet hideaway, this ain't the place. However, if you want a night out at a bar with lots of beer and liquor options that's far removed from from the shiny glamour and pretentiousness of Waikiki, Kemoo's is for you.

CASH ONLY!!!!!!!!  Being new to the island this ended up being one of the first places we ate at.  The food was decent for bar food and reasonable priced too.  The drink prices were on par with mainland prices.  Yeah there's military there, some bikers, and some randoms but the lakeside lania and downstairs bar make this place a definite stop for consistency.

Love all the food here! Great burgers with home made pattys, gyros, sandwiches, seafood basket and steaks...they have everything. Ive tried many things and have never had anything bad! You can take your kiddos in to dine until 8pm in the front part of the bar/grill area. I always crave the burgers from here. Definitely good food.

I went here because i used to go to the old Kemo Farms in the '70's. This new place is just a typical bar. nothing special.

Food is why I come here and they do it well. There is plenty of selection and the staff is friendly. My favorite item to order is the fish and chips. I haven't been here at night so I won't comment on anything else.

This place takes me back to Scholfield days, best days of my life lol. The bar is located pretty near post so this is the go to bar for soldiers when they dont feel like making the drive out to Waikiki. They can walk here and save themselves from getting DUI's plus it's cheaper as well. It's pretty big and broken up into two parts. The Pub and the lakeside lanai.

The crowd here is basically military and alot of them. Place was always crowded when I went. Body to body type of crowded. It's not a very fancy bar but  more like a dive. The service was always good, waitresses  hustle and work pretty hard here as they are constantly busy. I devoted many of nights to this place and most were fun and some were interesting to say the least lol.

Like the time my friend met Luke Perry lmao. FYI dont drink till your vision mind fu@ks you. Because when your sober the guy you thought was Luke Perry looks a whole lot different lol. Most of the guys that frequent here are nice and just out to have a good time, not the leave the cash on the night stand type of good time, just clean fun :) oh that doesnt sound right either but you get the point. There's always gonna be the few odd ones in the crowd so beware. I'm a creeper magnet and they always flock my way. I had this guy hit on me because he thought my calves were sexy lmao. I was wearing jeans how the eff can you tell what my calves look like. The weirdo kept asking me to flex my calve muscles for him. I mean of course i did it for him. Didnt wanna be rude you know ,calves need lovin too lol. Good times :)

They have happy hour Mon-Fri 1/2 off pupu's between 2:30 & 5 pm. Never made it there that early so i cannot attest to the food here. They also do daily beer specials. The place has your typical bar flare, pool tables, darts and mega touch and have live bands on both sides on certain nights. I prefer to hang out at lakeside because the atmosphere to me is better. It's open air and not so stuffy like being in the pub plus the view of the lake at night is pretty cool.

Havent been here in years :( Totally miss it and thinking i need to venture back soon. It's a cool place and if your ever in the area you should check it out. You might just run into Luke Perry lol

Sexy Calves and Luke Perry nowhere else but Kemo'o's :p

It says its a Pub , but its a d-d-d-d-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-v-v-v-v-v-v-e-e-e-e-!!!!!
Not that dive bars are a bad thing , its just a little false advertising.
The Service was Meh at best, not terrible just Meh, a little slow and the bartender kinda seemed like she was called in but she was cool once she started talking with us. The patrons were on that dive bar level too.  lotsa drunks , one 45 year old dude had to call his parents to come pick him up (45yrs old) well at least he didn't drive, give him points there. But here is the kicker ....The food kicked major ass!!!!!
It was like gourmet pub food ...Chicken pesto wraps "awesome" and the California chicken sandwich with avocado was killer as well. Pub chips were good too.

Maybe they can say they are a Pub, the food does it.

Came here the other night (Valentines day to be exact) on a whim..
Wasn't sure what to expect considering it is in Wahiawa.. and it does look a little shady from the outside, BUT don't judge a book by its cover!

The place wasn't too bad on the inside.. typical bar set up.
The waitress was really cute and friendly, great service.
I order the Gyro (around $9), It was HUGE and AMAZING!  I got a side salad with a delicious papaya seed dressing. They also brought us complimentary cupcakes for Valentines! How nice!

Overall, Kemo'o Farms impressed me! Great place to grab a inexpensive, yet delicious bite to eat, and a drink! I also heard they have live music on certain nights.

Cash only! but the do have an ATM on site!

I usually come to Kemo'o farms when I am too lazy to go down town. I live pretty close, so when I want to have fun and still be lazy, I come here.  There really isn't a bunch of places to choose from. I mean, its Kemo'o Farms, Chili's, or a nasty amount of strip clubs.

On most nights you'll find military guys, most of them are pretty chill and not obnoxious. They play pool and sometimes card games.

What I don't like is I can't open a tab. Cash only. I never carry cash in Wahiawa (well, pretty much never), they do have an ATM inside.

The bartenders are really nice as well, if they don't know a drink (Girly drinks) they'll look it up for you and make it. Most places I know usually say they don't know how and to pick something else. The drinks are pretty cheap and really awesome.

I really like how strict they are about ID checks. It makes me feel safe and it insures some idiot 18 year old isn't sneaking in to get a drink.

Also on Saturday nights they have a DJ (Mike G from KHCM) that plays Country Music. He's really awesome.

Having been a fairly regular customer since roughly May of 2003, I've been to a number of places around the island- some good, some great, some I may never go to again.  But throughout, I've been glad that I've had the relatively secret pleasure of Kemo'o Farms Bar and Grill (aka Pub) and Lakeside Lanai and look forward to more experiences as I finish my time in the military and start grad school- my turn to get in some fun on the North Shore and ride my bike even more. But some things shouldn't remain a secret- and Kemo'o Farms Pub & Lakeside Lanai are great examples.

While across the street from Schofield Barracks- an active duty Army (primarily) Infantry post- one would think that the primary clientele are military. And while military are a regular part of the "scene", one cannot overlook the influence of various motorcycle groups, an occasional passerby en route from the North Shore to Honolulu or vice versa, or- as with any establishment, the regular ebb and flow of, um, regulars. (So, I would argue that the "primary" clientele here is a consistent mix. Don't agree? Take a look around and tell me what you see!)

And while I will refrain from commenting on the Pub and Lakeside Lanai's busiest hours with more dense and perhaps more raucous environments (which aren't at all bad!), there's an entirely different environment that is often at work and frequently missed by many. Those hours before or after lunch time or dinner time crowds.  It seems, to me, those are times when the Pub and Lakeside Lanai are indeed at their best- and the bartenders, cooks and staff never seem to miss a beat. (And incredibly often, the bartenders (who are also incredibly experienced, knowledgeable and- um, pretty to look at!) will take a time out in even the busiest of times to make you that drink no one has ever heard of or plug the jukebox when no one else will to keep the vibe going!)

Of course, the frequent live music and regular events are always pretty darn good.  I've seen Go Jimmy Go! years ago- among many others- and have never had a bad experience.  My favorite, of course, is one genre is serving up tunes upstairs at the Pub, while perhaps another band- or lineup of bands- is serving up a completely different genre downstairs at the Lanai (for example, Rock or Ska upstairs with Reggae downstairs). And, I'll never forget that foam party slash bikini contest a few years ago when... oh, never mind. ;-)

But something that is also missed- and quite worth mentioning- is one feature that I've truly enjoyed over the years.  THE FOOD.  Whether you're like me and could go for a simple appetizer, (GASP) salad, a burger, or even a full meal- the food has always been fantastic.  Even on the incredibly rare occasion when, perhaps, what was prepared and delivered didn't match my request- wow, the bartenders and cooks alike have been amazing at making sure result matches intent.  And, did I mention? The food has been- without fail- fantastic.  Lately, I've steered away from a rather delicious gyro (YES, a gyro!) and have been utterly seduced by some incredibly tasty, huge, juicy BURGERS.  But the club sandwich calls continuously as does the French Dip- and so many others.

In the event you do go (and you should!)- whether after a long day of working or waiting across the street, having a great time on the North Shore and en route into Town for perhaps more (or vice versa!), or even after a great ride (BTW- I ride too!)- this is the place. Bring cash, because the only credit here seems to be the ability to perform and have a good time. Hang out, talk story with whomever, get down one some grindz, and perhaps even enjoy some live tunes while your there!

PS: Like pizza? Yes, it's true- Boston's North End Pizza Bakery, Wahiawa is at the same location! (Get a slice! I do, of course checking with the bartender first to see if it's OK to bring in a slice!)

We stopped by this place last night and really enjoyed ourselves. There are three different bars to choose from throughout the place although we parked ourselves at the pub and didn't move while there. The place definately had alot of character! In a good way...

They have live music (although we had to leave before they came on) and the prices were what you expect. I am sure they have drink specials as well.

Our bartender was really friendly telling us about the place and everyone that was in the bar seemed chill. It was pretty early so I can't vouch for the crowd later on. I assume its mostly a military/local spot considering it is right across from base.

    We'll definately be back!
