Knute's has so many unique features I hardly know where to begin! We joined them for the Saturday Night Prime Rib/Other Questionable Items Buffet and WOW...Who knew that Prime Rib could be white and gray? More on that in a minute. Let's start the service. NOTHING says "Welcome" like going into a basement buffet and being met by a large woman slopping up the remains of a plate full of ranch dressing and telling us to "go sit over there." When she finally managed to come take our drink orders 10 minutes later I could hardly believe we were served cans of soda. I also could hardly believe she even got up to serve us. I mean...there were only 4 or 5 other workers standing around or sitting at tables yapping with their buddies and ignoring stacks of plates and customers. I hated that our dining needs interupted the Knute's Employee Slop and Jabber Hour! Boo on us! We first visited the salad bar. I really enjoyed the lighting coming from the greasy and broken under cabinet flourescent light. It accented the "Someone Call The Health Dept...STAT!" theme Knute's had going. I won't even bother with the details. Just know that you may need a hand sanitizer. Feel free to share it with the  master chef who was carving the loaf of prime rib. The master chef had an issue with his balls itching but never fear: it did not inhibit his ability to cut off slabs of heat-n-eat prime rib! Who knew Prime Rib was white and gray? Not me but I suppose this is what happens when you have no fucking clue what you are doing as a restaurant/bar. Who wants spaghetti and sauce with hush puppies on a buffet and one set of tongs? YUM! The "sides" this fair evening looked like someone worked really hard at opening the cans of peas and carrots. The mashed potatoes and gravy? I would say that those will bind you up but I was wrong although my explosive case of the craps could've come from the goldfish fillets on the buffet. Let's over look that about 2 of the 12 heat lamps worked and that the cans of fuels heating the food were not working at 6:30 p.m. Let's over look the servers and staff enjoying their own happy hour in the basement bar leaving us to go deliver our plates and ask for drinks ourselves by getting up and walking over to the bar where 3 sloppy drunk employees happily apologized and offered to bring us new cans of soda...that we got 15 minutes later on a night where it wasn't busy. If I over looked the entire experience, went blind, and lost my sense of taste I would give this joint 10 stars out of 5. Unfortunately I can see and taste so I gave it one star and that was being generous. Don't waste your time or money here unless you love dirty buffets and slovenly employees ignoring you.

Couple weeks back we stopped in at this place after hunting and had their cream of chicken soup that was absolutely awesome! Think Pot Pie filling meats creamy soup. Best darn Yard-bird pottage you'll ever taste! Then we had what they call the "Killer" Prime Rib sandwich. It was KILLER!!!
It was amazing and the price was incredible.

Phenomenal value. People around us were raving about their handmade burgers served on pretzel bun. I would strongly encourage you to give it a look and taste and while you are there. Staff was incredible, and they serve the New Glarus Spotted Cow!

We are avid Fans of D3! We will be recommending to them that they hit this spot.

Food is generally good and priced very nice. Stopped here several times  and each time it seemed if you didn't sit at the bar or weren't on facebook with the waitress you couldn't get service. Will not go back because of the poor service.

Great friendly sports bar atmosphere.  Mondays are two for one burger day!  The bourbon burger was excellent!

    Cold reasonably priced beer.
