Be warned and stay away. I wish I read the reviews first

Just overall bad. The burgers we ordered were well done (not that we were asked how we wanted them cooked) and came out in like 5 minutes so it had to be microwaved, not cooked fresh. I expect better of a $13 burger, especially in Omak. Service was mediocre. Didn't get checked on by our waitress until we were practically done eating. That being said, it's getting two stars cause the food tasted ok, but no way will i come back to eat here unless i find out they're actually cooking food to order or lowering prices to fast food levels.

Not open 24 hours. Pretty decent food, but a little expensive for the area (I don't think Omak can support $14-20 dinners). It's no Outback, but it's way better than a Denny's/

I think the waiter wants to kill us. There's a kind of vacant yet unnerving demeanor to the wait staff tonight....weird night here at Koala. We've been here five or six times because we vacation here from the Seattle area a few rimes a year. Omak is changing fast and what was once a culinary desert is getting better, with local wineries making a name, and a few establishments bringing it. This place has a comforting chain like feel (I've never seen one anywhere else, but this feels like an Outback wannabee.)
Open 24 hours, Koala sits between the two nicer motels in town amidst big box retail--Walmart, Home Dep, a Safeway--all on the edge of nowhere, beautiful nowhere.

4 guys hunting. Take a day off to go into town - stop by the liquor store to refill and ask where to eat. since Mexican wasn't our first choice we were sent to the Koala Street Grill when we asked for a good place to eat. There wasn't anything particularly bad about it but then again nothing particularly good either. Kind of like a Denny's. Glad to get back in the woods and eat really good food like strip steak with cognac butter sauce over mushroom ragout. Now that's my idea of roughing it! Look up the definition of Nimrod (hunter)...
