Kopper Kettle Restaurant & Pub

A little gem of  a place we found on the way to Niagara Falls. Very rustic decor with decent food and good service.  Very friendly.  Nice place to eat if you are passing through.

I've eaten breakfast and lunch at the Kopper Kettle several times.

Lunch is pretty good.  This part of the state does not have many choices when it comes to dining out.  The kopper kettle is a decent spot to stop and have a sandwich on your way through town.  Breakfast was also fine.  Nothing special or out of the ordinary, but it did the trick.

Service here is good.  The two waitresses for the breakfast and lunch service are very friendly and get you in and out relatively quickly.

I was roadtripping with a friend who is a bit obsessed with small-town/country family style restaurants.   She has a GPS, so we hunted this place down when we were finally ready for a meal.

When you start looking at the menu and checking out the "salad" bar, you begin to understand why so many rural folk are overweight.  The only thing that looked vaguely fresh on the salad bar were the cherry tomatoes.

That said, the service was great, the sweet potato fries were awesome, and my apple dumpling was quite good.  And the prices were just right.  Definitely not a bad place to stop.
