Upgrading my previous review from 2 stars to 3.
The service is still horrible. My fiancee (she's been upgraded as well) and I went there with another couple to celebrate a birthday.
The food, however, was fabulous! I can't complain about any of the entrees or appetizers we had. Great stuff.
But the service is still atrocious. Miserably bad.
So, I think the LC Seafood & Prime Rib is just 1 or 2 competent servers away from being a 4-star restaurant. But if you're in a hurry - or just want to be served in a reasonable amount of time - it's still painful to dine there.
Note: Always check Yelp's 'Filtered Reviews.' One of the businesses I reviewed has a 1-star rating with only 1 review, but there are 5 'filtered' (hidden) reviews averaging 4.8 stars!
I had a great time here, my burger was just awesome, I just wish it lasted longer. My french-fries were hot and very crispy/crunchy just the way I like. The bread and butter were on the mark to boot, tasty sourdough bread. We split some chowder that was just so-so, but dip the bread in it and everything was all better. GF got the rock cod with rice pilaf, the fish portion was a little small but we both left full. Our waiter, Luke, was on the ball, helpful and accommodating, he gets five stars. I will most assuredly return for another burger.
