  Stopped here driving from chicago to Cincinnati. It was deserted but we didn't want to hit the normal chain fast food options. So glad we stopped here. No frills but really good Mexican food. Cheap clean and tasty. What more could you want?

  True mexican food. No glamour just good food.  The best food near the highway if you arentraveling long distance.

  Apparently this place has had several incarnations, this is the latest.  We stopped off the interstate for the DQ, but then saw this local place so went over there.  We walked in and didn't even see the restaurant portion, it's over to the left.  No menus, just what's posted on the wall.  We didn't expect much from the decor, but a woman came out with a bowl of chips and some green salsa - very good.  We ordered burritos, and got these big entrees with a decent red rice on the side.  No rice or filler in the burritos.  Full of meat, vegetables and other goodies.  We were pleasantly surprised.  Very traditional, limited menu, but good food.
  
  There is also a wonderfully stocked mexican grocery there with bins of chilis and lots of other great stuff.  Prices are very reasonable from what we saw.
