La Fogata

The food was so good! I also liked the atmosphere, and I can't explain why. The restaurant is small and the food is prepared by a two woman crew when I visited. Hats off to these two, they don't play.

I had crunchy potato tacos (tacos de papa dorados) with the normal Mexican restaurant sides and a modelo especial.

P. S. Don't be in a hurry, there's only two of them. :-)

I read the Bakersfield Californian suggesting this place, so I thought, why not.  It definitely is a "hole in the wall!!"  You walk in and order.  We got the lunch special.  It was ok.  They also served us chips and salsa...GROSS!  I think las fuentes across the street is a lot better.
