  This was the worst dining experience I've had in a long time. We had the buffet and it was a mistake. The selections were numerous, but had no descriptions. What I thought was queso sauce next to the salsa ended up being thousand island dressing on my taco.  The refried beans were a colorless grey and did not taste like beans. The desserts had bugs in them. Even the lemon slices in our waters were stale. We were also the only diners there for a majority of our meal, at noon, on a Saturday. Should have taken a hint. Will NOT be returning to eat here again. Ever.

  Pleasant surprise in downtown Barbourville. Service was friendly.  Chips are fresh, salsa a bit watery.  Menu is extensive, with lunch and dinner entrees.  Many traditional items.  Food was fresh, well, prepared.  My biggest beef is that what I got on my plate did not look like the menu description.  Also, all items were doused with cheese sauce.  Portion size was generous for what you paid.
