Larry's food take forever, it's usually only so-so, and is overpriced. It looks like the owner would rather run a craft boutique than a restaurant. The booths are filthy and broken and have big cracks in the seats. The ONLY good thing about it, is that it is open, because Morgan only has a few places to eat. If they had more choices, Larry's would be out of business. Â It is in desperate need of Robert Irvine and the Restaurant Impossible crew!!!
Review Source:This chicken is is really good. Â Worth driving from Orem for?...probably not, but since the "restaurant that shall not be named" went out of business in Lehi several years ago KFC just doesn't do it so I keep my eye out for anything to replace it. Â If anybody knows of great fried/broasted chicken message me.
The chicken is deep fried in a pan so you get a really good crunch to the skin and batter. Â The sides were good nothing to complain about.
One thing to note, if you order a breast you get the wing. Â If you order the thigh you get the drumstick. Â Two for the price of one!
If I'm up that way or am really craving chicken I'd go back for sure. Â Just wish the "restaurant that shall not be named" would come back!!!
If you're looking for great  chicken... this is your place.... Â
Don't go for the decor, art on the walls, or the trendy outfits the servers are wearing.... Â But go for the chicken! Â And be smart, make sure that when you leave you have an extra order of chicken under your arm. Â (the chicken is that good, you will want some warmed up the next day, or reheated in the over - not recommended to reheat in the microwave - but I will tell you that about almost all foods) & yes, it's also Delicious cold.
Larry has a secret recipe for his chicken that makes the skin crispy & the meat so tender you won't believe you're on Utah (maybe Tennessee). Â Sides dishes are all good and the service is adequate. Just keep in mind that this is really the only game in town, so it can get busy, and fried chicken can take up to 20 minutes to cook fresh and you won't be disappointed.
