Las Brisas Mexican Restaurant

This place has solid Mexican food served in an extremely bright and colorful atmosphere. My family and I chose this establishment for dinner as it seemed very new on the outside. When we walked inside we were met with bright yellow decorations and ornately designed chairs covered with bright pictures of sun and flora. We ordered the fajitas jaliscos (double sized) ~$24 and it was easily enough to feed 3 people (of normal size and level of hunger). The chips which came out with the salsa were still warm from the fryer and when the fajitas arrived it was a giant plate of sizzling splendor. It was a large plate of every meat (beef, chicken, and shrimp) and included the regulars (onions and green bell peppers).  The rice and beans which came with this were standard as well as the guacamole, but the sheer size of the fajita plates as well as the loud decor boost this place past other Mexican restaurants in my book.

This is the only Mexican place in Southeast Missouri that I will eat at.
I've tried Maya's a couple of other places, but Las Brisas is the best.
