Lazy Days Oceanfront Bar & Seafood Grille

This place is great. Sit outside for a fantastic view. The service was wonderful, the portions are Enormous, and it all starts with a bread basket that has a mini banana bread in it! The food was really good, being a New Orleans native I'm kind of a food snob, but I will definitely be returning to Lazy Days on our next trip to the Keys. Thank goodness our hotel has a fridge and microwave cause we have food for the next 2 days!

Stopped by with some Friends on 4th of July weekend.  I had recommended we go here for lunch, because I had been here before and had a good meal.  Such a disappointment this time. We were barely greeted by a grumpy Hostess who acted annoyed that she even had to find seating for us.  The Fish Sandwiches were so skimpy with thin little pieces of fish and definitely not fresh, and the rolls were stale.  I ordered the Horseradish crusted Hog Snapper with Key Lime Butter and it tasted like nothing and so dry.  Every time I took a bite the fish just crumbled and fell out of the roll.  Crab cake sandwich had so much bread crumbs. All seafood choices were served with Tartar or Cocktail Sauce only.  When you are paying $15 for a Fish Sandwich, you expect something a little more creative or at least homemade tartar sauce, not pre-packaged stuff.  Everyone left disappointed and I won't be returning or recommending again!  Some many good choices in the Keys!  This one is a tourist trap!

Great bread, great view, huge dinner portions. Sit out on patio if possible, great breeze and view. Reservations might be necessary- this place is very popular. Both kids and parents gave it 5 stars.
