This place is great. Sit outside for a fantastic view. The service was wonderful, the portions are Enormous, and it all starts with a bread basket that has a mini banana bread in it! The food was really good, being a New Orleans native I'm kind of a food snob, but I will definitely be returning to Lazy Days on our next trip to the Keys. Thank goodness our hotel has a fridge and microwave cause we have food for the next 2 days!
Review Source:Stopped by with some Friends on 4th of July weekend. Â I had recommended we go here for lunch, because I had been here before and had a good meal. Â Such a disappointment this time. We were barely greeted by a grumpy Hostess who acted annoyed that she even had to find seating for us. Â The Fish Sandwiches were so skimpy with thin little pieces of fish and definitely not fresh, and the rolls were stale. Â I ordered the Horseradish crusted Hog Snapper with Key Lime Butter and it tasted like nothing and so dry. Â Every time I took a bite the fish just crumbled and fell out of the roll. Â Crab cake sandwich had so much bread crumbs. All seafood choices were served with Tartar or Cocktail Sauce only. Â When you are paying $15 for a Fish Sandwich, you expect something a little more creative or at least homemade tartar sauce, not pre-packaged stuff. Â Everyone left disappointed and I won't be returning or recommending again! Â Some many good choices in the Keys! Â This one is a tourist trap!
