  Dependably good food and friendly staff. Simple and homey. One in our party had the fried smelt. Said it was good but too much breading after a while. The taco salad was a tad small but very good although the shell had been over browned. Perhaps just a one time error?  guess it doesn't matter if you do not eat it. My jalapeño bacon burger was super and bigger than I could eat. The French fries were perfect - slim and crisp.  We like this place a lot and will be back. To top it all off the prices are quite reasonable.
