Lety's Pupusas

Surprised to see its s food truck, the food was amazing with fresh ingredients and all home made.  Had food I has not seen in restaurants.  We consider ourselves very picky but loved it.

Wow, El Salvadorian food in Wolf Creek. How did I get here?

Wanting to checkout the history of the wolf creek area I decided to look around and saw there was a sign for pupusas. Amazed I decided to check it out and it was legit.

After trying a few pupusa places in Portland, this one definitely holds it's own. Standard pupusa is made by hand and then filled with beans and cheese. Sides of peppers and a light hot sauce accompany it.

I also had a burrito that was in an el Salvadorian style with little meat, lots of pinto beans, and cabbage. It was a much lighter and refreshing burrito than I'm used to from a food truck.

Wolf Creek, OR and Pupusas, not something that is normally thought of when one mentions Oregon, but if you're heading up to Portland along the 5 freeway, you have to make a stop in Wolf Creek.

Now some of you may be asking how good can they be. Well, if I was going to compare them to what we have here in LA, I wouldn't be able to give them 5 stars, they'd only get 4, but being in the middle of "I'd never stop here," OR, they can have all 5 stars.

Now how I happen to stumble on this place isn't important, but these are the best Pupusas I've had outside of having one of my best friends mother hand make them. We got the Bean and Cheese and the Mixed, which was bean, cheese and pork. Both were delicious. The cabbage and salsa were also very yummy.

So like I said, if you ever find yourself heading up the I-5 and have a craving for some Salvadorian, stop by Wolf Creek and have a Pupusa.
