  Best in freer can be slow. Since it burnt down they have rebuilt and are in a much nicer building now.

  Best hamburger in south Texas. My service has always been fast but I know  the waitresses and they know me. Love the place and the entire menu. I have eaten there at least 100 times.   You can't go wrong eating at the Liberty.

  Worst service in the world!  I grew up in Freer and this place used to be top notch now it is bottom of the barrel.  Problem is it is the only place in town one hour to get your food and the order is never right.

  Best brown gravy and cheese fries! Yea I said it right brown gravy cheese fries, with home made chicken tenders with sweet tea. My partner has family and yes i was extremely cautious at first to try brown gravy and cheese fries but i slowly did and this is the one stop that is a must in this small town :) you have to try
  
  btw... you can take Highway 16 to Freer, TX its a shorter drive than the typical navi tells you...
  
  From SA Huebner area... take ih-10 to 35 S exit Palo Alto Rd then take a left at the light you will pass 410, then 1604 and ride highway 16 alllllll the way for about an hour and a half to Freer,TX take a left at the main light and Liberty is to your Left
