The Lion's Den is a typical small town diner. Breakfast is served all day (not sure if it's even open at night) and it serves your typical diner breakfast specials and sandwiches. There are maybe 10 tables.
We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and had sausage, eggs, fries, and biscuits. All were good. The sausage was actually fantastic. Maybe the best sausage patties at any diner in Illinois.
The food and service was much better than the Hen House.
