The Philly cheese steak calzone was excellent; the crust was fantastic! Â It was among the best crusts I've ever eaten. Â Marinara was thin, but with very good flavor and was plenty for the calzone (don't you hate it when you only get a little ramekin of marinara to go with a huge calzone?). The food was good...very good.
The service was bad...very bad. Â I was in there with only one other couple and the service was sluggish. Â Waited way to long in an empty restaurant for my order to be taken. Â Skip it if you're in a hurry, stick around if you want an excellent meal.
The food here is superb. Â We always have the Mediterranean pizza with the lamb gyro on it. Â You have to look beyond the service, do not be in a rush and eat here. Â The service is terrible. Â We eat here lots and this time there were waitresses doing nothing because it would appear that we were not sitting at "their" table and our waitress was very busy. Â They really need a front of house manager to sort the service out. Â I guess most people except this and put up with it. Â The other thing is in McCormick there really isn't any real competition.
Review Source:What a menu! There is something for everyone. We've been there several times and the service can be spotty, but the food more than makes up for that.
The lamb gyro is one of the best I've ever had, and I lived in New Jersey.
The girlfriend enjoys the meat calzone, which is loaded and more than ample. She gets 3 meal out of it.
They serve alcohol. Bonus. And they're the only deal in town.
Go. Try. Enjoy. You won't be disappointed.
A medium to small sized restaurant with several flat screens showing whatever the customers request. I usually ask for SportsCenter. They have a pretty large menu to choose from. The hot sandwiches are pretty good and the pasta dishes are fair. Pizza is mediocre.
My complaints are that the service is incredibly hit or miss. On more than one occasion I have gone in by myself and waited 30 minutes before getting my food. My other issue is that they have no idea what a stromboli is or how to make it. So if you're looking for a stromboli then stay away. Haven't tried their calzone.
Little Italy is a crazy place because the menu is enormous. Â It reminds me of a diner menu, where they have a seemingly limitless supply of various items. Â It really is impressive. Â If you bring several people here, there is definitely something for everyone.
As far as pizza quality goes - it ranks amongst the most average of pizza places that are found in any other town or city. Â
On the action-movie-parallel-satisfaction-scale, this place is The Icredible Hulk.
