Good! Would go back
The food was good and service friendly. Unfortunately they closed their doors recently. The word is that someone is putting in an Asian bistro soon. I haven't seen any construction yet so we'll see...
I'm so happy to have found this place! East Texas isn't exactly known as a hot spot for foodies, but this place is a diamond in the rough! From the outside it looks a little divey, but the inside is cozy, kitschy, retro and smells amazing. The owner, Aie, is a sweetheart, very personable and whips up your delicious food within plain view at their teeny cooking area. I'm a glutton when it comes to spice and Aie made sure my food "made me sweat and my nose run"... just as she likes it. A woman after my own heart. :) My only complaint is that the waitress' biggest concern was either breathing down my neck or garnering the attention of her male coworker. Slightly uncomfortable, but I'll definitely be eating here again.
