  What a nice, little, family-run restaurant!  Situated on the courthouse square, I was happy to find a place open for breakfast and lunch on a Sunday (open until 2:00 pm on Sundays.)  So many of these places are closed on weekends or have disappeared entirely. I learned this place been under the current management for about four years and clearly a lot of effort has been undertaken to modernize the experience. First off, when you step inside, everything was immaculately clean, there were no musty, moldy smells, and the restrooms were modern and well-maintained. The waitress was attentive and efficient as well as very helpful with menu suggestions which was important because it was extensive. I was really only looking for coffee and pie but ended up with an excellent turkey reuben with sweet potato fries. It filled me right up. I never did get pie but I have one more reason for taking a drive off the beaten path.
