Lock 24 Restaurant

Drove from Beaver PA the other night for dinner. It took about 40 minutes. We sat in the downstairs area near the water fountain. There was a 1 man band playing in the bar area. Our waitress was friendly and service was good.

We ordered the following: the  housemade chips with a blue cheese/ranch dip( I loved them), chicken with spinach and  artichoke and some seafood dish that contained shrimp muscles and fish.  My chicken dish was tasty and enough to bring  home for lunch the next day.  I did not notice any spinach though. My husbands seafood dish was spotty.. the mussles were bad, but everything else was good.

Dessert was to go and made in house. He had some chocolate dish and I had the carrot cake.. It looked( and tasted MUCH better than the photo they had of the desserts.

Our bill was reasonably priced for all the food we ordered. We will come back again.

It was ok.  When you first walk in the decor is extremely rustic and I was a little taken back.  The service was good, but the food was extremely over cooked.  I had the fish that was rubbery and others in my party had steak over done as well.  
Not somewhere I will be back to.

Great experience. The restaurant is beautiful, friendly staff, great service, and loved the tilapia dinner special. Live music was a great bonus!
