  Whenever Nick and I are in Canon City and we go out at night for drinks Lola's is always a stop on our tour of Main Street. It's the best place to go for a quite, cheap drink because there are never more than like 3 other people in there. This type of slowness in clientele can also lead to slowness in service so don't get all uppity if the bartender is outside having a chat or a smoke when you finish your drink and need a second one. Smart goers of Lola's know that you either order your second drink early in case this happens or have some patience waiting for the next one to come.
  
  Anyway, the cheapness and stiffness of the drinks more than make up for any waiting in my mind. For example on our last visit Nick and I order a beer and a whiskey and coke. The beer was probably 22 ounces (one of those tall glasses) and the whiskey came in a soda glass with mostly whiskey and just a little soda. It cost us $7.50 for both. And they always have some sort of snack to share with you like a bag of pretzels they'll pour into your own bowl.
  
  They have a pool table, a jukebox, and are usually showing something on a TV. But the "something" is often a movie from the 80s. So, you know, awesomeness all around.
