  Outdated and not clean! Food is decent but scary to eat looking at the inside of the place. Service was friendly.

  Great breakfast and lunch buffet  on the weekends. Excellent homecooked food during the week. The atmosphere is pure 1970's West Texas Truckstop.

  One of the best places to eat in about a 100 mile radius.  Food is really good and the prices are very good.  A must to eat in Bowie.

  The only place I say you should eat in Bowie !!! Great country style home cooked food.  Clean and friendly I will return. :-)

  We were visiting my husband's family in Bowie and we ate here after such a long drive from the airport.
  
  My husband had the Chicken Fried Steak and I had the Fried Spicy Catfish. The meal comes with sides but you can also choose their salad bar as a side . It was a nice option even though I may not have had much room for it because the entrees were huge! This salad bar comes with desserts too.
  
  I sampled some of the Chicken Fried Steak and it was crunchy on the outside and nice and juicy on the inside. My Spicy Fried Catfish was delicious but it was a bit salty so if you are sensitive to salt you may want to try something else. My meal also came with hush puppies and a baked potato which were also tasty.
  
  I was even more surprised when the check came ...to feed five people it only came out to a little over $30.00!

  A wonderful local haunt with an old Texas feel and wonderful food and service.
  
  The locals love it, so the occasional out-of-towner will enjoy it all the more.
  
  The buffet is popular (on Saturdays at least). It's quite reasonably priced.
