Los Compadres

Really sweet service is the highlight of this place. The ladies working the front of the house are as sweet as clover honey.
The food is pretty good too. The salsa has fresh ingredients and a little chunkiness to it. And chips are brought to the table hot.
I had pork carnitas. While a little greasy, they were also pretty tasty! I ordered a side of chorizo, which is not on the menu here. I put the sausage in the beans and rice and really kicked up my plate's flavor.
All in all a solid place and just a tic short of four stars.

The food was good, I had a chicken chimichanga and chili rellano.  My boyfriend order dirty queso (queso with taco meat mixed it), they didn't know what it was, but made it for him once he explained it.  It was ok, we've definitely had better.  Our server didn't know what chorizo is, which is kinda scary in a Mexican place.  But she was new, so I guess I should cut her some slack.  The salsa was on the watery side.  We stopped in here during a road-trip, so we probably won't be back.  But if I lived there, I'm sure we'd go again from time to time.  Certainly nothing to write home about, but no real complaints.

Good. Fast. Reasonably priced.
