Lumber Yard Restaurant & Bar

This is a good little bar & grill in downtown Chapman.    For a small town bar it has a decent beer selection, more than just the standard domestics.

Though much of Chapman was destroyed by a tornado in 2008, downtown was mostly spared and The Lumber Yard survives.

The bar has a few pool tables and a dining area off to the side.

One of the employees was convinced that we were regulars, though we had never been there before.  :)

At one point I desperately needed to use the men's room so set off to the center back of the building -- the place where restrooms are almost universally located.   But I was wrong, there was only a women's restroom there.

"I can tell what you need from the pained look on your face," said a woman drinking with her friend.   "Yours is by the front door."

Sure enough, the men's room is located in the front corner right next to the front door.   An odd placement.  :)
