Love this place. I'm doing the 300 beer challenge. Great assortment of beers in both bottles and draft. Great BBQ as well.

Great beer selection, good food.  Ample motorcycle parking, but it's really a more "Disney" biker place.  Waitstaff could be more friendly and attentive.

I've been here a couple times and really like the place. I'll be going back again. First, Mac's is not biker bar. It has a biker bar theme. I've been to biker bars and this isn't one-it is too clean and the food is too good. There are bikers there, of course.

Anyway, I've had the wings with the hottest sauce they have. It was quite hot but not too much for me. It would be for others. The wings seemed on the small side but they had plenty of flavor. I've had the Tabasco fried pickles twice-the first time the Tabasco flavor and heat was very evident, the second time not at all.

I did not have any beer but was tempted, there is a great selection. Service was good, not great and not bad, but good. That's all I need.

    I'll be returning.

They try really hard to make special southern type sides, but don't really succeed. I think the place is ok though, its nice, seems clean, great place to get drinks.  Decent place, not the best... Try it out.

Mac's is a biker bar that happens to be clean, well-lit, have a large selection of awesome beer and also serve food. The fact that it doesn't fit the stereotype is probably its best feature. Indoor/outdoor-esque seating is available thanks to the garage door wall leading out to a patio area on one end (reminds me of Rudy's).

I ordered a flight of local NC beer to go with my brisket sammich. In my glasses:
Huske Hardware Ale Yeah - kinda like Budweiser, tbh; unremarkable.
Mother Earth Weeping Willow Wit - the best of the group. A delicious witbier.
Mother Earth Endless River Kolsch-style - for being kolsch style, this was too bitter for my liking.
Carolina Copperline Amber Ale - my number two pick of the flight.

The brisket sandwich turned out to be three slabs of brisket on thick white bread that quickly self-destructed under the weight if the meat and sauce. I might have had to switch to a fork halfway through -- still good. Seasoned fries rounded out the basket. Overall, a nice match for my beers.

Great beer selection, the smoked wings and brisket are the best we've had in the town, only bad thing I can say about the restaurant is the wait times and the inability to move anywhere during busy times. Once you get a seat stay there because you won't be moving until you leave.. (Which on the plus time gives you plenty of time to enjoy their massive portions)

Great beer selection!  I have been in a few times and they do not disappoint.  VTX wings are good and the waitresses are awesome.

Atmosphere: this place is about beer (they have a very large, nice selection on tap and by the bottle), bbq and bikes (the parking lot has designated parking outside).  Wood tables, and a lot of wood paneling inside, with a nice hardwood floor.  There is an outside patio which has overhead heating elements (it was  a bit warm for them yesterday, though).  We sat down at a picnic table, which looked like it hadn't been wiped down since ... oh ... last week or so.  Lots of TVs for sports, so this place in terms of ambiance isn't any different from your average Fayetteville sports bar (think Kickback Jack's, Carolina Ale House, etc.).

Service:  Efficient, though she didn't smile much.  Food and drinks arrived quickly (we went at 1200 on a Sunday, so the place wasn't all that busy).

Food: I ordered a small pork sandwich with mac and cheese as a side.  My companions had pork platters with sides.  I also ordered some tabasco fried pickles.  As I didn't discuss the meal with my other guests, I'll speak to my meal.

BBQ:  Nothing special here.  I didn't detect any hint of smoke whatsoever.  It wasn't dry (it was topped with a fairly bland coleslaw), so they have that going for them.  The bun wasn't toasted, and it appeared to be your average SYSCO or US Foods product that comes in large plastic bags.  Thus, the sandwich became flat and mushy very quickly, with little to no textural appeal.  Maybe that's what they're going for, I don't know.  I did put on some of their vinegar sauce, which is in a small container along with other sauces.  It wasn't too bad, but they'd do well to use Kinlaw's Hogwash sauce (available locally) rather than this.  That sauce is amazing.

Fried Pickles: nicely fried, but I didn't taste the tabasco.  They had a thin breading/coating on them, and had a nice crunch.  Ranch dressing tasted like it came out of a bottle - did not appear to be homemade.

Verdict:  This is my second time here.  I've had some of their chili made with their beef BBQ, and it had a definite smoke flavor profile.  Don't know why their pork doesn't.  Maybe that's what they're going for - they're braising it, or slow roasting it and relying on the sauces to make up for the blandness.  But overall I expected more in terms of smoke flavor.  Will I be back?  Maybe.  There just isn't a whole lot about this place to really separate it from other BBQ joints/sports bars in town - it's basically your average sports bar.  Blink and you'll think you're someplace else.

I will say it is far better, however in terms of food than the Memphis Barbecue Company.  At least the pork wasn't dry - every time I've eaten at MBC that has been the case regardless of which meat I chose.  If I had to choose between the two I'd go here.

This place is a God send. I am from Southern California and we have some neat places up and down the coast and some inland, but this one takes the cake. I walked in a the first thing I did was smile. It felt, warm and invited. So, I went to wash my hands and the bathrooms, smelled good, were clean and huge. Then I sat down and before my eyes were a plethora of beers that I either loved, longed for or heard tons of hype about. I was a bit taken back for a minute with the beers, then I was offered a menu and it was like Christmas morning when i asked my parents for a NES and lo and behold I opened my gift and there it was. not a who lot of California beer, but for me, who cares? I am from Cali and can get Cali beer. I got a Bell's two hearted and there open faced brisket sandwich. Both were amazing and not in the way that dang this is good, in the way that holy crap, i wish I could eat/drink something of this magnitude of awesomeness everyday! The waitress/beer girl/bar tender Hali (Arizona is what I called her and I don't know if the spelling is right), was knowledgeable, super friendly and all around awesome. Then Samson whom Manages the joint sat down, he was just as excited about the place as me and he works here on a daily basis, you can't ask anymore than that out of an employee. He is the dream employee, he works hard and loves his job. He sat down and we talked through out the day about beers and how much California needs a place like this, good, food, good beer and good times. The rest of the staff was awesome as well. Jodie the bar manager was awesome as well. Also, I don't know who hired these people but all of them had great attitudes very clean, knowledgeable and for anyone single out there, good looking. So, in review, great food, simple and tasty menu. Great beer 30 taps (non of which are BMC minus PBR, but come on, you know you'll drink PBR) and 250 give or take of awesome bottle beers. For the guys who just like to drink, they have 24oz Bud and stuff to. Cheap prices. I had three tickets and all of them cost me $100 or so. This includes, 10 beers (two hearted, wake n' bake, lion stout, pork slap, hop karma, 2x stout, blueberry cobbler, hopslam, curieux and another stout I can't remember), one open face sandwich and grits, 2 pulled pork, one order of fried pickles, two orders of red beans and rice, a military personals check and a couple of beers I bought for people. All for $100, I mean, come on! So, this place gets my highest honor. I would make it 6's if I could. If you are ever in NC, please do yourself a favor and find yourself a Mac's Speed shop. I can't say it will be as awesome as the Fayetteville location was, but you'll have a good time. Also, they had HopSlam, so, yeah, they have rad beer. I don't know if any of the ups at this company will see this but please reward your staff and crew, thank them and get at me with info on how I can franchise this in CA or TN. This place is heaven and a gold mine all rolled into one! A++ rating for sure.

Love the food, service, and atmosphere. Hate the COCKROACH that feel from the ceiling into my hair tonight. I won't be coming back now. :(

Bikes? Check.  Beer? Check.  BBQ? Nope.

This is definitely not a BBQ place.  I am no BBQ connoisseur but I think St. Louis style ribs a good indicator of BBQ quality.  Sadly, I was disappointed by Mac's wanna-be BBQ.  The sauce was too 'spiced' and too sweet - no balance at all.  All the ends were burnt and extremely dry :-(

The beer selection, however, was awesome! We ordered 13 different beers in total between 6 people, ranging from Erdinger hefeweizen to nut brown ale.  This was the best part of our mediocre night out!

Mac's definitely has a biker theme and a lot of biker-types hang out there, but that is not to say that non-bikers are unwelcome.  There is always a good crowd but I'm not sure that it is really a kid-friendly place (kids are welcome, but it is generally an all-adult crowd).

The food is great - the BBQ sandwich is DELICIOUS and so are the chicken nachos -  and you get your money's worth because the plates are heaping.

I'm not a biker and I don't drink, but  I like BBQ.   So, I decided to check out this place.    There was a short newspaper write up about the place that sounded like the food might be worth trying.
I drove past on a weekend night and the place was packed.  They had a live band and the place looked very entertaining.  But, I stopped by on a Friday afternoon, around 4:30 to miss the dinner crowd.  There were lots of people there, but I didn't have to wait for a table. The place is divided into three parts, indoor - filled with "pub" height tables with bar stools and a bar; covered patio, with the same thing, including a bar area,  but it is outside (and apparently you can smoke out side),  and an area with umbrella covered picnic tables.  After I had been there for a few minutes, they opened a big garage type door dividing the indoor area from the outdoor patio area.  There are plenty of TVs on every wall and the music is loud.  Due to the bar stool type seats, I doubt this would be a good choice for folks with young children, unless you decide to sit out at the picnic tables.
My server took my drink order right away, leaving me a menu to look over and time to look at it.  They have pulled pork barbecue, sandwich and plate, ribs, chicken, combos, and some other sandwiches, I think they had sliced or pulled  beef brisket .   The sandwiches come in three sizes topped with cole slaw and I think it had a small amount of Eastern Carolina BBQ sauce.  I chose the medium size with a side, but I got the slaw on the side and no sauce.  My server pointed out the table top assortment of house brand BBQ sauces an Eastern Carolina, a mustard base and one I can't remember.  The meat in the sandwich was moist, tender and has some nice crisp bark included,  and had just a very slight bit of East Carolina sauce.  the cole slaw was not too good.  I took a taste and left it.  I also got a side of macaroni and cheese, and a side of potato salad.   The mac and cheese was OK.  could have been warmer and cheezier.  The potato salad had unpeeled red skin potatoes, celery, onion and I think some egg.   It wasn't bad, but I would like the potatoes peeled, cut into smaller pieces and cooked just a tad more.  The dressing on the potato salad was pretty good.
Service was right as needed, either with my original server or others.  It's nice when any server who happens to notice your drink glass empty gets you a refill, or if you look like you might need something, will stop by to check.
Although this is advertised as a "biker bar",  I think it is more for the weekend biker.   They have several designated bike parking out front, but on  a busy night, the parking lot might need a few more spaces.
I need to go back and try their burger.  See how it compares to the other 'Biker Bar",  the Dog House, a  burger that I previously posted was the best burger in Fayetteville.

Great beer selection and atmosphere.  The ribs were a little dry but they've got some great sauces to make up for it!
