I love this place. Â I've been to several bars throughout Florida and this one is at the top. Â It sits right at the end of the Cocoa Beach pier. Â Definitely the best vibe and coolest views you can find. Â Nothing like sipping on a rum runner, smelling sea salt and watching ocean waves all at the same time. Â If you don't like this bar, you obviously don't like beach bars/Florida and should probably move to Canada :)
It's a very small hut-type-bar that makes stiff drinks and has friendly bartenders. Â They do happy hour at 4:00 and everything is half priced. Â For food you have a selection of a few kinds of chips or you can order food and they bring it down from the restaurant. Â There always seems to be a fun crowd and it's always fun to watch the surfers and fishermen. Â Another neat thing about this bar is there is always the same pelican who just sits around and chills out and when fishermen catch fish, he trods up there and they usually feed him. Â
Awesome bar!
This is a great place to hang out on a nice central Florida day. If you are in the area it is a must go kind of place. It is at the end of the Cocoa beach Tier. From what I was told, the whole pier is owned by one family. So the drinks and specials are very similar to the other bars and restaurants on the pier, including, Marlin, Boardwalk, and Oh shucks. The drink prices and specials are much better than most of the other drinking spots in town. The only downfall is that the bar is in the only section of the pier that you have to pay to get into. However, it is only $1 a person. I do not mind paying that for the type of scenery you get at the tiki bar. The only downside to the bar is that the mixed drinks are not all that great.
Review Source:A great spot to hang out on the pier, even better if you can score a rare seat at the bar.
Pay the toll to make your way out to the end, last I was there it was $1 each, so bring some singles and you're good to go.
In addition to being a great location - a bar at the end of pier! - there's lots of people watching to indulge in. If the "Florida Surf" is up, there are often quite a few people surfing the small waves or just paddling around. I'm not sure if this is a good fishing location or not once early morning has passed, but there are usually at least a few scattered people fishing at all hours of the day.
The bar itself is a simple shack with stools and no fuss drinks. Grab a beer or a cocktail - hopefully during half price happy hour from 4-7 Monday - Friday. The cocktails aren't so much good as strong, hey, if they aren't going to be well mixed at least they're full of alcohol. I think that suits this place well, if you're not going to get a little sloshy why are you at a tiki bar in the first place?
Bathrooms are back towards the mainland, and watch out for seagull droppings.
coolest bar in coaco beach!
forget sandbar (in which i had a terrible time). this place is very unique. its a bar at the end of a long pier. there's a nice breeze flowing from the ocean and its just the coolest place to have a drink i have been to.
hours are limited so dont show up too late.
This spot is awesome for a bar...except that the bathrooms are far away back down the pier. Other than that, it's open air bar and end of the pier location is really neat. The prices during cocktail hour were phenomenal and the guy serving was really good at keeping pace with everyone there.
One odd thing was that we had to pay some random guy to walk past the main restaurant who was watching t.v. on a disney monitor. ( i.e. it was pink and purple with a fairy tale shape to the t.v.), so after paying to get past the hemp rope he packs up and leaves and then people freely walked onto the pier. ( I think the "toll" was $2, but still..c'mon)
Other than that it was an interesting pit stop on our FL. vacation.
How can you beat a Tiki Bar @ the end of the pier, surrounded by nothing but beautiful ocean views? Â
On top of scenery, the happy hour  sports 1/2 off  drinks from 4-7 and the bartender, Johnny, was extremely patient with our inebriated crow. I'm making a 2nd trip before we leave, for sure!
With beautiful views, this tiki bar at the end of the pier served as a great little spot to sip on an early afternoon beer.
The bartenders were very friendly, and we enjoyed lively conversation with a few locals too.
We had front row seats to some serious fishing. During the course of our one beer, we witnessed two, beautiful fish pulled over the rail. One of the bartenders even ran out to assist with the larger catch.
If you find yourself at the pier, checking out Mai is worth your time.
This place was the saving grace of the Cocoa Beach portion of our trip. We stayed next door at what is now the La Quinta. Then it was a pile of crap. We were so disappointed but it was only two nights. We stopped at the tiki bar for lunch and some drinks and ended up staying through dinner.....and a lot of drinks! Our bartender was a blast, we watched some fishermen catch a baby shark and we spent the day in the sun over the ocean. the only bad part was when we had to go back to our hotel....
