Mailan Fast Food

Just like the two stars state, "Meh. I've experienced better."

Given the fact that Mailan is the only Asian cuisine available in Anahuac it's not that bad and their service is pretty fast however, the daily choices of around 10 different items for the buffet can become quite mundane very quickly and who wants to experience that.

Unfortunately, the buffet is meh, but it's the best deal! Ordering something of the menu can get pricey and I would not have a problem with it if the food wasn't so bland.

However, there is ONE thing I love about this place and that is their homemade sweet and sour sauce.
Two regular egg-rolls (which have increased in price over time, I believe they are now $1.50 and are a little bit bigger than my middle finger in length and fairly slim around) and that sweet and sour sauce and I am good to go. Make sure to eat the egg-rolls while they are warm because once they have cooled you can taste and feel the accumulated frying oil they were once dipped in.

I wish them the best and hope that they can improve over time.
