Every small town needs a few things in order to survive: schools, churches, banks and a grocery store. Â Bucklin has all this and more; the Main Street Market holds up its end of the bargain, and then some. Â With 20-30 miles to go for a gallon of milk, this store fills the gap nicely. Â Lots of groceries for a small town and located conveniently on Main Street and Center. Â There is a great soda fountain and ice cream treats counter in the back, much like Bucklin has had for most of its hundred+ years of existence. Â The cute young man (AC I believe) is so sweet and friendly, and even helps with the groceries to your car (and I bet I could get him to bring them home for me if I lived there!).
A wonderful treasure in a gem of a town.
This is a terrific small town grocery store. You'll find great service, friendly people and a soda fountain! Yes, Â a soda fountain in a grocery store. They make the best limeades anywhere and you can also get ice cream treats. Ask about the Orange Cow. Â They also have a small lunch menu.
