I was in Capak, for business, looking for a place to take a customer, and he suggested Main Street Villa. Â Capak is a sleepy little farming center just in the base of the thumb area of Michigan. Â Its above I-69, but not by much.
These are farming center communities, with a couple of churches a small hospital, and a main street. Â
The options for eating are typically 1 fast food chain place - out near the interstate, then maybe a corner store, with a deli and video rental all-in-one.
Main Street Villa, is a step up, in that it's a pizza place, with 12-15 tables, and has other menu items. Â But its bread and butter is the pizza, and maybe their lunch time buffet.
So the four of us had lunch, three went the buffet and one had the fish and chips special. Â There was plenty of food, and it was OK. Â The pizza buffet was cheese and pepperoni, with maybe a supreme coming out as we were leaving. Â The pizza was made fresh onsite, round, and better than average Dolly's Pizza and certainly well above a Little Caesar's.
The wait staff was nice, but young.
So if you are driving thru Capak, and you want a sit down place that's local and not a national chain, Main Street Villa would be a good fit.
Main street villa has wonderful pizza! Â We have been here many times and always get the deep dish pizza! It is a nice atmosphere, but why I gave it 4 stars is because the radio and tv, they are always both on in the one room and the acoustics in the building make them both seem loud. Almost every time we are there we have to ask them to do something with the radio or tv. The the waitstaff is normally very friendly, attentive and helpful, definitely recommend this little place in a small town for great pizza!
