I went to the Main Street Wine Bar and was blown away. Â It's a little off the beaten path, but it was easy to find and had a great drink list and menu!
Atmosphere: 5
The place has a nice country feel to it and never gets too loud. Â There was some soft music playing in the background when I was there, but it was quiet enough to easily have a conversation. Â They also have a huge patio, but it was too chilly for us to sit out there when we went. Â I wish it had been warmer, because it looked really nice out there.
Food: 5
The menu is modestly sized, but everything on there looked delicious. Â To start, we ordered the cheese board and it was fantastic. Â The cheeses were varied, but all very tasty. Â For our mains I got a curry and my wife got some steak tacos. Â I loved my curry, but I couldn't keep my hands off the tacos either! Â Both were extremely delicious, with the steak being cooked to perfection.

The have quite the list of wines, beer and bourbons! Â My wife loved both wines that she tried, and I was a big fan of the local beers. Â I also looked at the bourbon list and it really covers the bourbon spectrum nicely--there's something there for everyone.

The owner greeted us at the door and was very friendly. Â We ended up sitting at the bar and chatted with the bar tender for a bit. Â She seemed extremely knowledgeable about wines, and helped my wife select two different wines that she ended up loving.
Value: 5
Everything there was priced really well. Â We were both really pleased with the quality of the food and wine for the price we were paying. Â Its hard to beat, and we'll almost certainly go back next time we're in the area again.
I could not have been more pleased with my experience at Main Street Wine Bar. The owner and staff are warm and welcoming in addition to being extremely knowledgable about their offerings. The wine list and guidance also enhanced the experience and I am more in the know about wine than I was before I walked through their front door. In my experience some wine bars that have the this level knowledge can be a little stuffy. MSWB was anything but.
The food itself is on point. It is unique without being too pretentious. The flank steak with  Chimichurri was the perfect meal and cooked to a beautiful medium rare. As a wine novice I was eased into my comfort zone with their also impressive craft brew and bourbon list. The beers are local and the bourbon is served properly with selections that cover the full spectrum of bourbon flavors, from spicy to sweet.
There will not be a time that I am in this area where I will not stop here for a relaxing meal and some drinks.
Had a great night at the Main street Wine Bar last night with friends. Â Table of 6 and we were greeted by the owner at the door. Â Not far from the Turnpike exit at Donegal where we were staying for the weekend.
All we could say was WOW. Â Great wine selection by the glass and the bottle along with some craft beers and specialty in bourbon. Â The food was excellent and the menu is primarily small plates and appetizers. Â You won't have eaten any of these recipes before. Â Or table ordered one of almost everything on the menu to share and every plate was fantastic. Â I get a chance to eat out all over the country and this is some of the tastiest food I have ever eaten. Â We talked with the owner and many of the ingredients are local and very fresh and you could tell.
The wine list was expansive and we got a lot of help with our selections based on what we normally like and what we were eating. Â Also look like they always have a wine "flight" going, although we didn't do it that night.
I do not spend much time writing reviews but I wanted to in this case. Â If you are anywhere near Seven Springs, Hidden Valley, Latrobe or Ligonier (or just looking for a stop along the PA turnpike) you have to try this place. Â You will not be disappointed. Â We will be back.
