I stopped in here while I was in the area visiting some of the nearby wineries. Yes, they will definitely know if you are not a local in this place. OK place to pick up some road munchies or ice cream. This is a real country store. Its good its here if you need something, other wise you will have more to pick from if you go into Red Bluff.
Review Source:Manton Corners is a place where you can grab a beer and sit out on the porch and wave at the cars passing by. Â This little piece of heaven is the hub of Manton, not to mention a bit of historic monument. Â Friendly and colorful people are aplenty, and it's not hard to spark up a conversation. Â More like a large hall, there's a pool table, stage and a jukebox. Â Next door to the bar/hall is a little corner store which is always handy. Â
If you're passing through, definitely stop by!
I can't believe Manton Corners is on Yelp. Anyway, as far as the store/saloon/laundrymat/feed store/ex-gas station/sometimes auto repaire shops go--well, it's Manton. Take it or leave it. The food is not always fresh. The bathrooms are not always working. The store's hours vary. But when it's 100 degrees, there is not another place to go to get a gallon of vanilla ice cream. This is a very rural, one-stop sign town, and having a store is very convenient for when you just don't want to drive all the way to Red Bluff.
