Love this place and the service the whole staff is always great and helpful food is absolutely delicious and its not bad on the pocket book! As for the bad review I read I'm thinking someone had a personal issue. It's been clean every time I have been there and I'm some why a a regular these days
Review Source:I never thought I would leave a negative Yelp review, but for the sake of mankind, I must do so. Â
I want to support local but I cannot support Marcy's. Â What I saw tonight will give me nightmares. Â I am actually concerned at this point I may get food poisoning. Â I never thought I would be served food so bad that I would actually leave the place and go to another restaurant just for the sake of being cleansed with "real" food. Â And I did; I did just that. Â I immediately left Marcy's and went to another restaurant to be cleansed of the horrible dirty I felt within my soul after dining at Marcy's.
At Marcy's I heard servers and bartenders arguing and yelling with each other. Â I saw the server girl with brown/blue hair use her nasty dirty foot to lift a door handle of a door that lead to an outdoor dining area. Â Let me repeat. Â I saw the server, with food in hand, lift her dirty foot to a door handle to open it so she could serve the customers in the outdoor dining area. Â People were going in and out of this door, a lot, the same door that the server uses her foot to open, I am sure she does this often. Â Can you say fecal matter? Â That has got to be a health code violation. Â If you do dine here, just wash your hands after touching anything/everything!! Â
Now let's talk about the food. Â Marcy's offers a full menu. Â Let me save you the time and stomach ache, DON'T DO IT!! Â I ordered one starter, the thai lettuce wraps, and one main dish, the pepperoni pizza. Â OMG, gag. Â I didn't know it was possible to ruin lettuce wraps and pizza but at Marcy's it is possible. Â The thai wraps came with a lot of romaine lettuce, 10 small cubes of chicken, one cup of cucumbers and one pound of sliced carrots. Â Served cold with a side of nasty. Â
The Pizza. Â I am not sure I can call it that, but since they do, I guess I will too. Â The pizza was the worst I have ever tasted. Â It wasn't even like real pizza. Â If a Lean Cuisine Pepperoni Pizza is a 2 on a scale to 1-10 than this pizza at Marcy's pizza would be negative 20. Â The crust was not fresh; it was a pre-baked crust. Â It tasted like year old stale bread tossed with cotton balls and sprinkled with cardboard. Â My husband's said the pizza tasted like a rotten tomato that crapped out a saltine cracker. Â The "pizza" was overloaded with less than government quality mozzarella cheese and I never saw or tasted any pepperoni. Â We actually joked at our table that at least they could have ordered us a Digiorno pizza. Â
This may have been the most horrible dining experience I have ever had in my life. Â To say we will never go to Marcy's again is an understatement. Â They promised to play a football game before we even arrived, they didn't keep their promise. Â The servers were unprofessional, unsanitary and rude. Â I am sure there are many health code violations at this place. I can never recommend this place to anyone; instead I will tell them the truth. Â Unless, they want the most disgusting food ever, served via foot, with a side of fecal matter while being treated like crap by your server, stay the hell away from this place. Â But if you are doing a science project on food poisoning, you may want to check this place out. Â This was a disaster on an EPIC scale. Â I mean EPIC!! The only good things I can say about Marcy's is that I liked their music playlist and the guy in the Deschutes Brewery hat, who is probably the only good employee in that place. Â I think his shift was over shortly after we arrived. Â I feel bad this review is harsh, but this is my toned down version. Â My experience was much worse than I can describe on Yelp.
