Never again, we decided to give MaryAnns another chance, from memories of long ago. we were so disappointed. There were only about 6 patrons seated for dinner ,but it was early ,around 5:30. As we went to the table ,escorted by the bartender ? we hear someone yell out..."find out what they want to drink "..this was our waitress....the ONLY waitress..before i took off my coat or my husband sat down, they were asking me what i wanted to drink ??? HELLO, if i wanted to eat at a truck stop, i would have gone to one. We were never told the specials, and the meal was nothing to even write about... it was only when our waitress was taking our plates AWAY,did she ask if we wanted more to drink ?? Whoever owns this restaurant now, needs a reality check.i normally do not write a bad review without adding at least a few positive notes...but today i could not think of one.
Review Source:This is going to be a shorter review. Â I have only been to Mary Ann's once. Â People often rave about the food. Â I was happy to go. Â I have to admit, the atmosphere was not the best but it was not the worst. Â The food was really good, I was impressed. Â I ate half of my meal and then wanted to take the other half home. Â The waitress came over, said "You done with that hun?" I went to say, yes could I please get it wrapped to go and she dumped a dirty plate on it and took it away. Â I sat speechless and possibly with my mouth hanging open. Â I expect this sort of thing at the truck stop in the middle of the night, but not at a restaurant that supposedly gets such great reviews...but then I guess I should look at the people giving those reviews and it might make more sense. Â Needless to say, I have never been back there again for fear of PTSD caused by the trauma of seeing my yummy meal splatted before my eyes.
