Maynard's

The pool table sucks, very little room on the inside. Nice tv/sound system. Good price on drinks. The saving grace is the bartender, she is smoking hot and makes great drinks.

When you first arrive at Maynard's you immediately notice the easy and accessible parking in the front of the building. Don't let appearances fool you though. It may appear to be somewhat scummy on the outside but upon walking in you notice how clean it is. It is not a very large bar but there is adequate seating available, a bar with updated flat screens and a pool table. Not too mention a very LOUD music system. You could tell this was a regulars bar and not many people frequented it on an early Friday evening. However its a good spot to watch the giants game and kill some time. Down sides are there is only one female bathroom the music is incredibly loud to the point its hard to hold a conversation with someone and you have to really work to capture the bartenders attention. All in all though the staff was nice and outgoing the place was clean and it had a more professional atmosphere than the other bars in the local area.

Maynard's is the only bar in Lower Lake, and it does the little historical town proud.  It could be much divier, but I found it to be very clean, personable, and reasonable.  I stop here whenever I'm in town!
