McGrew's Pub

This is a perfect example of how looks can be deceiving.

Located in a strip mall off MO-58, McGrew's doesn't fit the usual profile of a suburban strip mall bar at all.    What on the outside looks like a typical generic suburban chain, turns out on the inside to be a genuine local dive bar.

We were already enjoying this discovery when we sat down to play some rounds of trivia on the MegaTouch machine, which we found pre-stocked with dozens of credits.   Score!  

Our visit was enhanced further by our very surly bartender, who while nice to us, ad no qualms whatsoever about chewing out her assistants in front of the customers.  

This was a good find for us, as we prefer places that give us something other than the run-of-the-mill.  :)
