  I was staying at the hotel across the street so decided to give it a try. I wasn't fond of the crust that much but am giving it four stars because it's a rare find to get vegan pizza and they had it. They use a vegan meltable cheese which is considered one of the top brands. We also got pretzels but I didn't like them that much since it was the same dough used in the pizza. Its a nice casual atmosphere and great family place.

  Live music on Saturdays but gets very crowded. Bar has a huge selection on tap but is very slow due to crowd and one bartender. Pizza and calzones are wonderful and made with whole wheat crust.

  The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and did a great job for our table (we had about 10 people at the table including a few kids). The pizza was delicious, as Mellow Mushroom always is. I highly recommend this location to my friends in the area.

  I have not eaten at a Mellow Mushroom in years. I remember the original one in Atlanta on Spring Street. It was in an old gas station and probably on had five tables. Man how they have changed. This Macon Mellow Mushroom is huge and the menu is very extensive. I have the steak sandwich on French bread and it was awesome. I also had a Greek salad that was also very good. I definitely dine here again when we come back for a visit with my Dad.

  We stopped in here for a quick dinner on the road, wowed by the free appetizer ad on yelp.  We had the pretzel, and it was great -- service was good, the manager came by to visit, which we saw him do to every table which was very nice.  Pizza was surprisingly good, considering this is a chain.  Not bad!

  I have always loved Mellow Mushroom.  I used to frequent the one near Grady High School in Atlanta, GA ALL the time.  They STILL have the best pizza cooks!  The pizza here isnt bad, I just think that it could be improved a bit.

  Only pizza shop I know in Macon that serves beer. Great little pizza shop. I will be honest that it's not my favorite pizza crust but obviously everyone else doesn't agree with me because it's always packed! My absolute favorite item on the menu without a doubt is the cinnamon pretzels covered with honey, they are to die for!!! Here's a secret, if you check in using YELP then it will unlock a free appetizer and you can try those wonderful pretzels for FREEEEEE!!!

  My husband and I greatly appreciated the check in treat of a free appetizer. We got the portabella mushroom. It was very good.
  
  I am a fan of most Mellow Mushroom establishments. We have eaten at them in at least seven cities. This restaurant is very new and clean. The server was very knowledgable and attentive. I actually had a drink for my entire meal.
