Only arts space in Santa Fe and probably most of New Mexico. They put on some good shows and display some good art. If you're a snob from either coast you may not find this place up to your 'standard' but this is a quality place, run by quality people in a very un-youth-friendly city and state.
Review Source:This is quite possibly the ONLY art alternative showplace in the entire state of New Mexico. The organizers are totally unorganized, the art is totally unbuyable, and the fans are young and over the top. This is a TRUE artist collective, totally existing on well-deserved donations and art grants and somewhat off kilter donations from people who enjoy seeing cutting-edge art.
You won't be going here to buy your native american turquoise trinkets, but you might meet a bunch of cool people, dance your ass off, and experience a scene that is totally unlike any other in this city.
This place is amazing. I went there last night for the meow wolf horror delight of a warehouse. It was a collaborative effort and many artist contributed to the most creative collective installation project ever!
Some rooms where crawl spaces, they also had a cannibal kitchen, people screaming, dolls hanging, lots of things for your eyes to carry off to wonders... lets just say it was made of tons of stuff, found objects, old wood, books, rickety door ways, paths to the unknown and just really creative! Its so awesome what you can turn bric-a-brac into!
This is probably the best hauntedunted house" you could ever see... not only that, people were friendly, humble and just great artist.... Go there, support them! Donate a few bucks cause places like this need to stay open!!!
