Merrillan Cafe

The epitome of a greasy-spoon.  Cheap eats, decent portion sizes, and good coffee.  I have been here hundreds of times since I was a kid.  Overhearing the conversations between the locals, hearing the waitress say, "Hey grandpa, you're back!", it just feels like a place out of time.  Every time I'm in Merrillian (where my dad was born and still has a cabin), I'm sure to stop in.  Check it out if you're driving through.
