Mill Town Music Hall

very hard to see performers in a sold out situation.   would not return to this venue
seems to appeal to people afraid to travel to better concert halls.

It is a so-called *Christian* venue.  Read whatever you want into that and you will probably be right.

I was invited to an event at Mill Town Music Hall for Country Music Producer Harold Shedd. It's located about 50 miles west  of downtown Atlanta in the small city of Bremen, Ga. which is about 11 miles from the Alabama border on Interstate 20.

Great venue for music. Very intimate setting for an artist to really perform up close with their fans. It seats about 1,200 depending on the chair configuration.

From the front of the house it's basically an old Walmart or grocery store that they completely redid into a music hall. The acoustics are pretty good and the stage is right there, meaning you are close to the performance and the artist. This almost reminds me of those old acoustic type shows that artists use to do in the 90's! I think they were called unplugged. Well unplugged or not you really get up close to your favorite artist and it makes it really go to another level.

Now if you don't know who Harold Shedd is he produced music in Nashville and pretty much helped Alabama, Toby Keith, Shania Twain, Billy Ray Cyrus and many many other country stars make it to the big time.

The event I attended had performances by Alabama, Toby Keith Country Music Legend Mel Tillis and a host of others. Truly it was a Legendary night for Mr. Shedd
and the fans of country music who follow those folks.

This venue does not serve alcohol and the menu was kind of limited to popcorn and candy. BUT it's on the way to being a great little small town venue that could become pretty BIG! It's worth keeping an eye on their schedule of events just to see who's gonna be there next.
