Oh how I love going to the Mink Eye. Â Kaleb is a friend of mine and I can always count on him remembering what I like to drink as soon as I walk in the place. Â It has a Cheers atmosphere during the week. Â The weekend is busier and many people playing music on the jukebox. Â Great little bar downtown!
Review Source:i spotted this place when i stepped out of laredo grill for lunch. later in the day i came back for dinner around the corner and i walked by after i ate.
the doors were closed and i heard voices. a motorcyle the lone vehicle parked out front. i figured i had nothing to do back ay my hotel room, so i went in there to keep my dinner buzz going.
a few stairs down led to a quaint bar with 6 stools and a couple of booths. it looked like there were 2 separate groups of 5 in there who knew each other. i sat at the bar and found the place to be a little clicky.
it was pretty red-necky. at one point the bartender played some song on his ipod touch, i had no idea what it was but all these red necks in there started singing along and playing air guitar.
so i had my one Abita and left.
i think this place would probably be fun if you went there with a couple of friends and it was crowded.
