Wow--rolled into town at 9:30p and dropped in for a bite and a beer. Â Total: $15 for a delicious chicken and waffles (I couldn't eat it fast enough!) and beer. Â For a cheap bite and a beer, I'm not sure you can beat it. Â Plus, the neon cowgirl and men's restrooms are why you drop into places like this!
Review Source:Probably one of the better bars in Livingston nowadays. Â The Mint used to be kind of a dive. Â Not frequented by the younger crowd very dated (in a bad way), and not very friendly. Â A few years ago, it was completely rennovated, and cleaned up. Â Historic pictures of the town are on the walls. Â The atmosphere is retro early 1900's, very tastefully and overall is a vast improvement on the old Mint. Â It helps to know the bar tenders personally but, the service is always good, even when it's crowded. Â Local bands play regularly and everytime I go there at least 1 friend is sitting at the bar. Â I haven't had a meal there since they started serving food, maybe next time.
