Miss Port Henry Diner

We were passing through town on our way south from the Adirondacks and we were starved. Because we spotted a few dual-sport motorcycles out front, similar to what we ride, we decided to check out the Miss Port Henry Diner. We totally lucked out! Not only is the place a real honest-to-goodness diner from the early 20th century (with intact trailer hitch, intact marble countertop and booth tabletops and wooden refrigeration cases), the coffee was hot and fresh AND the gigantic breakfast portions were made with fresh ingredients including jalepeno peppers in my companion's burrito that the owner/cook grew himself. We pride ourselves in "knowing a fine breakfast when we eat one" and this place is right up there amongst the tops on our lists. Inexpensive, too!
