We were driving outward from (the 'Y') in Arkadelphia and wanted some Country Down Home food ---  we stopped at the 'Hollywood' fire Dept  and asked - they were like "Uh... er ugh...  Allen's in Arkadelphia"... they didn't know of this place!??  Really?  OKaaaeey,  so we kept going to Antoine - where 3 ol' boys were outside on the porch of the general store - we asked .... they simply pointed toward Mom's  and said  "Friday nights catfish....  Saturday nights good eatin' too!".....   with a smile and a wave - we were down the road toward Mom's in Delight. Their Catfish buffet is awesome! They have grilled catfish under a steam cover (I love their grilled catfish too)  and boiled shrimp too!  This place reminds me of a Louisiana joint - the buffet is far and wide with variety...  The twin sisters running the place are simply adorable too!!  We live in Bismarck, but frequently take a nice, relaxing drive out  to Delight for the Mom's experience!!  Limited evenings though - call 1st!!
Review Source:For $6.95 ($7.50 with sweet tea) we were served a beautiful plate with 2 pieces of fried fish, French fries, 2 hush puppies, a large serving of cole slaw & a cup of brown beans.  I don't usually eat fried foods, but everything was quite good. My French fries were kind of soggy but my husbands were crispy & delightful. One of my hush puppies had jalapeño, one didn't. The fish batter was a little salty. Cole slaw was really good; not dry but not a heavy mayonnaise taste and not overly sweet.  It's small & clean.  Our waitress checked on us without our feeling like she was in our business.
