  Mom's has a really impressive collection of old-school candy. They also serve ice cream, kettle corn, coffee, and sandwiches, but their candy collection stands above the crowd. It is not a handmade collection, but rather an impressive collection of pre-made candies. The owner has a real aesthetic for classic confections. It is a perfect fit for a vacation stop-over. The collection includes Fudge, Black Cow, a variety of rock candy, taffy including watermelon and cookie dough that look like little watermelon slices and cookies, Zotz, about 15 kinds of gummy things, buttons (those candy drops on paper), bit-o-honey, peppermint sticks, and more.

  This is a cool little snack shop featuring ice cream, fudge, kettle corn and sweets.  
  
  "Mom" is fantastic!  We arrived close to 9pm closing and she was genuinely glad to have us drop by.  She told us all about her computerized ice cream machine, and then shared stories about the lake conditions and tales of late night visitors in need of assistance and lodging.  Great time.
  
  Her "assistant", a local attorney, was fun.
  
  The whole experience left our party of six in a great mood and good deserts to enjoy the rest of our family evening.
