Montanya Rum

My husband and I stopped in here for rum tasting, and boy are we glad we did!!  Unfortunately, we couldn't stay and indulge in more drinks because we had to drive back through the dangerous mountains to get to our hotel in Ouray, but we truly enjoyed what we did have while in Silverton.  My husband is NOT a drinker, and he enjoyed the Oro rum so much that we left the tasting and went straight to the liquor store to buy not one, but TWO bottles for him and a bottle for a gift.  Definitely stop in if you have the time!  I hear the Maharaja is amazing!!!!

Can't say enough good things about the new Montanya location in Silverton.  Drinks are still off the charts fantastic.  They're cocktail artists!

The hot drinks are as good (and strong!) as the cold drinks.  Do yourself a favor and get there early and try a few different options.  It closes between 9 and 10 so don't plan on it as a late night stop.

They'll gladly let you sample any of their rums and infusions.  

Just a great place that is unexpected in an otherwise redneck mountain town!  You'll love it.  Then go up to SILVERTON Mountain and get your rocks off on their epic steep terrain!!!!  Well, maybe the morning after the "rum bar"...
